Our membership includes librarians, library staff, trustees, and friends, affiliated with all types and sizes of libraries. If you work in or love libraries, please join us!

Why should you be a member of NDLA?

Membership is fun and rewarding, it supports the library profession in our state, and it’s a great way to get to know people from other North Dakota libraries! Our success depends on an active, enthusiastic, and sharing membership. It’s through your involvement that you and everyone in the North Dakota Library Association gains.

Institutional membership dues are based on a library’s full-time staff. One to three persons from the library’s staff may register at the conference member rate (see above). Institutional memberships do not include any personal memberships.

Personal members may belong to as many sections and roundtables as they wish, choosing from:

  • Academic and Special Libraries Section (ASL)

  • Health Science Information Section (HSIS)

  • Public Library Section (PLS)

  • School Library and Youth Services Section (SLAYS)

  • Technical Services & Government Documents Roundtable 

  • New Members Roundtable (NMRT)
