| HSIS Professional Development Grants have been made possible through the efforts of the HSIS Section as host of the Medical Library Association - Midwest Chapter 2014 annual conference. Proceeds from the conference fund a professional development grant for one HSIS member each year. A grant up to $1000 (with grant amounts not to exceed actual expenses) will be awarded to any member who submits a successful grant proposal to the HSIS Executive Board. The Board administers the grant application process and will determine the grantee each year. This professional development grant is intended to assist members of HSIS in participating in a variety of activities. The grant may be applied to expenses associated with attending a conference such as the annual Medical Library Association conference Midwest Chapter conference, or other conference or training opportunities such as teaching or technology conferences. |
