New Members Roundtable (NMRT) Grassroots Grant

Deadline - July 15 

Purpose:

NMRT awards this grant to support attendance of up to two members to the NDLA Fall Annual Conference which offers training, networking and leadership opportunities for librarians throughout the region.    

Nomination Procedure:

Applicants will follow the link below to fill out the Grassroots Grant Application Form, submitting a resume, education history and one essay from the prompts on the application form. 

Further Information:

Recipients must be current members of NDLA. One award will be given to a student currently enrolled in an ALA accredited MLS program. The second award will be given to a librarian with less than 6 years of experience who is attending an NDLA conference for the first or second time. The grant covers the full registration (including meals) for each recipient. The grant does not cover the cost of travel, lodging, or any other expenses.  The recipient(s) must agree to:

    • attend the full conference (agreement does not cover the pre-conference)
    • the publication of their entry application essay
    • submit an article afterwards about their conference experience to The Good Stuff for publication
