Pre Conference Session:

(Re)-Discovering Your Passion

for Library Programming -

Creating and presenting programs is arguably one of the best jobs you can have at a library. However, it can lead to frustration with participation, creative droughts and burnout. This preconference will give you tips and ideas as well as hands on activities to help boost your enthusiasm for youth programming at your library, whether you work with preschoolers, elementary, tweens or teens.

Will Stuck

Will Stuck has been a storyteller for as long as he's been able to speak. But these days he rarely gets sent to a principal's office for doing so. Will  worked in the public library setting for twenty four years. The last 18 of those years have been spent working in or managing Children's Services. His work wasn't limited to the youngest library patrons. He planned and performed programs for preschoolers through senior citizens both in the library and throughout northwest Missouri.

As of June 2017, Will has become a full time professional speaker, workshop presenter and Edu-tainer. Whether he is presenting summer reading or library program workshops for various State Libraries across the country, speaking on the topic of storytelling as a communication tool or just acting like a fool for laughs in front of children, Will's passion for stories, books and libraries shines through.

Will spends his down time creating wonderful memories with his wife and two children. He also enjoy painting murals, playing bass guitar in a punk/metal band and sharing many stories and laughs with his friends
