Base fee:
  • A ticket to attend the conference. Includes access to all events on Thursday/Friday, plus meals (breakfast, lunch and the awards banquet dinner on Thursday, then breakfast and lunch on Friday). This price is for non-members.
  • Gets you access to all events on either Thursday or Friday, your choice. Includes meals (breakfast, lunch and banquet dinner on Thursday, or breakfast and lunch on Friday). This price is for non-members.

Pre-Conference: Steven A. Guglich


 Steven A. Guglich is a champion of stories and the people who write them. He currently serves as an elementary school principal and was honored as the 2020 North Dakota Principal of the Year. Beyond his role in education, Steven is the author of the epic fantasy series, The Veil Saga, and the founder of The League of Young Writers, an organization that mentors teens in writing and publishing. A husband and father of four, Steven believes that literacy is the magic that transports us to new worlds, and he is dedicated to ensuring every student holds the key to that magic.  


Thursday Keynote Speaker:  Mona Susan Power


 Mona Susan Power is the author of four books of fiction: The Grass Dancer (awarded the PEN/Hemingway prize) RoofwalkerSacred Wilderness, and A Council of Dolls (winner of the Minnesota Book Award and the High Plains Book Award, longlisted for the National Book Award and the Carol Shields Prize. Fellowships in support of her work include an Iowa Arts Fellowship, James Michener Fellowship, Radcliffe Bunting Institute Fellowship, Princeton Hodder Fellowship, USA Artists Fellowship, Native Arts and Cultures Foundation Fellowship, and McKnight Fellowship. Her short stories and essays have been widely published in journals and anthologies, including The Best American Short Stories series, The Paris ReviewThe Atlantic Monthly, and Granta. Power is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe (Yanktonai Dakota), born and raised in Chicago. She currently lives in Minnesota, where she's working to complete a new novel.

Friday Keynote Speaker:  Faye Seidler


Faye Seidler is an award winning advocate that specializes in suicide prevention, LGBTQ+ populations, and state data. She was born and raised in North Dakota and has a decade of experience in community organizing, public speaking, and professional development training. She is known for connecting and uplifting others, bringing communities together, and always keeping hope in focus.
