2023 NDLA Annual Conference!
@ the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo, ND
After hitting our previous limit, the hotel has graciously worked with us to add more capacity. We are therefore re-opening registration.
So join us October 11th to 13th for the 2023 Annual Conference of the North Dakota Library Association!
Note: if you want to attend only the preconference, you can RSVP for the preconference. If you are registering for one or both days of the main conference, you can add the preconference as a free add-on during registration. There is a printable registration form available if necessary. Also, check out our schedule of sessions!
Our keynote speaker for the year will be Deborah Caldwell-Stone, the Director of the American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom.
This year's preconference is a presentation and workshop on library policies, with particular regard to the recent legislation, brought to you by the North Dakota State Library. The preconference is free of charge this year, so bring your questions and policies you want to work on, and join us on Wednesday October 11th from 1-4 PM. There will be no meals served at the preconference, but we have dine-arounds planned for that evening.
The schedule of events is now available in Sched. If you have the Sched app installed on your phone, just search for NDLA and it should come up.
Attending NDLA's 2023 conference can earn you a credit through Valley City Statue University. The credit costs $50 and the assignment entails attending 15 contact hours worth of sessions, plus writing a reflection paper on the conference as a whole. In order to accumulate the required 15 hours you will need to attend the preconference as well; please note that the preconference is free this year.
To register, visit VCSU's registration page, then go to Course Availability and Registration > NDLA > Fall 2023 Semester > NDLA 2023 Conference.
