2023 NDLA Annual Conference! October 11th-13th @ the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo, ND |
Due to an enthusiastic response, we have currently reached capacity. We are speaking with the venue to see if there is space to add more tables in the ballroom for meals; if we can do so, we will re-open registration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our keynote speaker for the year will be Deborah Caldwell-Stone, the Director of the American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom.
This year's preconference is a presentation and workshop on library policies, with particular regard to the recent legislation, brought to you by the North Dakota State Library. The preconference is free of charge this year, so bring your questions and policies you want to work on, and join us on Wednesday October 11th from 1-4 PM. There will be no meals served at the preconference, but we have dine-arounds planned for that evening.
Here is the list of sessions. We are still working on the exact times, which will be coming soon.
Attending NDLA's 2023 conference can earn you a credit through Valley City Statue University. The credit costs $50 and the assignment entails attending 15 contact hours worth of sessions, plus writing a reflection paper on the conference as a whole. In order to accumulate the required 15 hours you will need to attend the preconference as well; please note that the preconference is free this year.
To register, visit VCSU's registration page, then go to Course Availability and Registration > NDLA > Fall 2023 Semester > NDLA 2023 Conference.
