The Membership Committee has been running Water Cooler Chats (information below) with the Professional Development Committee, working to make the information in the Membership area of the website more organize and accessible, and administering the NDLA Conference Scholarship (formerly the Grassroots Grant).

If you have questions about NDLA membership, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Join us for monthly Water Cooler Chats with the Professional Development Committee!

These virtual "water cooler chats" will take place via Zoom monthly on the 3rd Monday at 1pm and 3rd Wednesday at 4pm. These casual sessions will range from roundtable discussions to committee presentations to crowdsourcing conference proposals and beyond. We envision these as informal sessions to spark conversation, share ideas, and network with fellow ND librarians.

Upcoming Water Cooler dates:

  • July 15 at 1pm
    • Mindfulness and de-stressing at work
  • August 19 at 1pm
    • Come chat with members of the EDI Committee
  • September 16 at 1pm
    • Workshop your conference presentation

Have something to bring to the water cooler? Don't hesitate to reach out to either the Membership or Professional Development Committee co-chairs.
