PURPOSE:

The Academic and Special Libraries (A & SL) Section provides an organizational home for librarians and information professionals who work in academic or special libraries or those who have an interest in those types of libraries. We promote the interests of academic and special libraries, support studies of and research relevant to academic and special libraries, and work to improve service capabilities of academic and special libraries in the state of North Dakota.

A & SL MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Continuing education sponsored by the section,  the Association of College & Research Libraries and other affiliated organizations
  • A forum for participants to network, discuss and exchange ideas among other academic or special library professionals
  • Leadership opportunities
  • Session, paper, and poster presentations at the NDLA Annual Conference
