North Dakota Library Association lists are the official discussion lists of NDLA, intended to facilitate communication among members about Association business and library issues.
All members, voting and non-voting, may opt to subscribe to any NDLA list. Any list member may post messages in accordance with the criteria specified below. List membership subscription requests are moderated by the Membership Chair. Note: you can check and manage your NDLA membership and section/roundtable membership by logging into the Member Area.

Message sent to NDLA lists will be distributed to all subscribers. Messages are not reviewed prior to distribution. Senders are responsible for the content of their messages and should include a signature. A descriptive subject line should be used.

Instructions for subscribing (joining) and unsubscribing (leaving) an NDLA list, including read-only on the Executive Board:

yourfirstname and yourlastname are your name (must be at least two words)
For example, to join the list named XYZ, send the following in the body of the email:
SUB xyz John Hancock
In most cases, you will then be asked to confirm the request. Instructions will be included in the confirmation email.
Unsubscribe to a list using an email command:
For example, to leave the list named XYZ, send the following in the body of the email:
SIGNOFF xyz
In most cases, you will then be asked to confirm the request. Instructions will be included in the confirmation email.
If this does not work (e.g., your address has changed), please contact the list owner at listname-request@listserv.nodak.edu and ask to be removed from the list. Be sure to mention any old addresses which might be subscribed to that list and the name of the list.
EXECUTIVE BOARD LISTSERV
Within a week after the close of the annual conference, the Membership Chair removes previous officers, changes the status of current officers to be able to post, and adds incoming chairs to read only status to the Executive Board Listserv. Only current members of the Executive Board may post messages to this listserv. Any member may request to be a read-only member of the list. The Executive Board list is :
